Summary
My name is Vanessa Romeo, I am a freelance illustrator, cartoonist and concept artist.
From January 2014 until 2018 I published for the publishing house Elledici, in the magazine "Dimensione Nuove".
My task was to create self-contained comics of six boards that had morals for boys and girls from 10 to 15 years.
From 2017 to 2018 I completed a course of "Character Design Cartoon" at the Event Horizon School in Turin, with excellent results, which allowed me to work on various projects as an illustrator of children’s books and role-playing games.
At the beginning of 2021 I published for the publishing house "EF Edizioni" a autoconclusive manga, "Evanmak - The mechanic of T3rr4".. In November 2021 I completed a Webtoon course with the teacher of the International School of Comics Marianna Cato, where I designed my story "Muffin House" and learned all the basic techniques of the Webtoon.
From May 2022 I started to publish "Muffin House" on the Tapas and Webtoon platforms and to work as inker for the original French webtoon "Amethyst", projects that I still carry on.. In August 2022 I won the 22nd Webtoon France contest in the jury award section.
I work hard to improve my artistic skills, studying and practicing every day. I love challenges and get involved, because you never stop learning.
